The verification page has receieved a total overhaul and the program accepts new applicants once again. The updated page lists new requirements to get your server verified. The most notable change is that verification is now limited to game developers only, with seemingly no option for non-gaming companies and organizations to get verified.
- Must create a Team on the Developer Portal, or otherwise be part of one.
- You'll also be asked to provide your full legal name, business contact information and a company email.
- Must have a released game on Steam, and have your Discord server linked on your store page.
- Unreleased / closed access games are ineligible for verification.
- Search for and select your game from the list to claim.
- Game profiles are auto-generated. If no profile exists, you'll have to contact support.
- The system performs an automated storefront check for your server -- the server owner receives an email with a verification code.
- The application is submitted for manual review.
On approval, the server is awarded the verified badge and inherits its respective perks. Becoming verified also grants access to all-new analytics for your game on the developer portal, and allows you to manage your game's profile on Discord (description, genres, platforms, screenshots, banners, logos, developer and publisher names and official social media and links).
