Owners of Partnered and/or Verified servers can not transfer ownership by themselves, this can only be done by Discord.
- Make a support ticket at https://dis.gd/support > Help & Support > Server Related Questions > Server Ownership Transfer Requests
- Fill out the form and submit
Imporant change:
As of April 2026, it is no longer possible to escalate your transfer request via Discord Admins or Discord Town Hall, nor is this necessary anymore. All requests, including those for partnered and verified servers are now properly handled through the regular support queue. Note that this may be at cost of longer wait time.

Here's what you need to keep in mind:
- Verified only: your server must be transferred to someone within your company or an official representative (such as a publisher or music label).
- Partners only: you will lose access to all partner perks on your account (your profile badge and free Nitro)
- Transfers are not guaranteed, there may be security or other internal reasons leading to a denial of your request.
- Only the server owner may submit a transfer request - this can not be inititalized by an admin or mod.
